The Xarel\u00b7lo grape takes center stage in this sparkling wine; and it does so from the oldest vineyard in Can Llopart.
\nVines planted in 1935, in a single plot next to the family farmhouse.
\nLess than a hectare of octogenarian vines, sheltered on the slope of the forest and cradled by the Mediterranean breeze, which offer us grapes with character, with very good aromatic concentration and a pronounced mineral character.
\nShallow soils, on calcareous bedrock, developed in a landscape of shady slopes.
\nThe geological materials that give rise to these soils are Miocene marls.
\nThey are well-drained, moderately basic soils, with a loamy-clayey texture and a moderate level of organic matter that host a great diversity of insects and underground fauna.<\/p>\n
